2nd Place — Go Dive Derby ROV Competition

- Served as Co-Lead of the Software Team and Computer Vision Lead for Shiro Kaijen, the club’s ROV.
- Designed and implemented software pipelines for:
- Automated tomb mapping & symbol detection (computer vision).
- Green square percentage estimation using image analysis.
- Pipeline inspection & navigation with autonomous control.
- Led 8-member software team; repository covered control, perception, and autonomous navigation.

3rd Prize — OpenCV Foundation Core OpenCV & AI Competition

- Developed DeepCat, a mobile-friendly AI system that interprets a cat’s emotional state via body language.
- Designed a CNN-based pipeline for eye, tail, and mouth detection on 10,000+ images.
- Achieved 97% accuracy for eye detection, 85% for tail positions, and 84% for mouth configurations.
- Published and presented at JAC-ECC 2023.
